A Greeting of the President
One year has passed since the International Network Go Organization (INGO) was established on May 15, 2011.
We have had a substantial number of participants to the organization in the first year and they are now enjoying games on the INGO site.
We feel that we will be able to expect further support this year from Asian countries such as China and Korea where Go is very popular.
If you have chance, please feel free to invite your friends to INGO where they will be able to enjoy good games in the future.

Greetings from President
The International Network Go Organization (INGO) was established on May 15, 2011.
INGO allows people to play network Go with others from around the world.
Unlike in real time Go, users of this service make a move and then wait,
typically a day or so, for a response from their opponents.
Therefore games will last from weeks to months.
One advantage of this is that you can think more deeply about your moves,
and this generally leads to a better standard of play.
Another advantage is that you can play though interesting sequences of moves on your board before making your decision.
We hope that the activities of our organization will introduce many newcomers to the world of this fascinating game.
If you are interested in becoming a member of INGO, we welcome you at any time. Please fill out the form right.
We hope you have an enjoyable time using INGO to play Go.
President
Isao Yamashita (山下功), Japan
Special Advisors
Wang Ru Nan 8P (王汝南), China
Lin Hai Fong 9P (林海峰), Japan
